Rachelle Kucharski is a seasoned dance educator and HR professional with over 25 years of experience. She began dancing at the age of 13, quickly discovering a passion that led her to a teaching position at Dance by Gloria (DBG) after only six years of training. Rachelle pursued her education at Baldwin-Wallace University, where she earned a degree in Dance and Business Administration, with concentrations in Marketing and Psychology. She later earned her MBA with a focus on Human Resources and achieved her SHRM-CP Certification.
In addition to her teaching roles at DBG, Rachelle has made significant contributions to the dance community. She served as the Coordinator and Instructor for the Middleburg Heights Recreation Center dance program and was an active member of the Urban Dance Association at BW. She was also a dance educator for the North Royalton Saturday Enrichment Program and had the honor of being an original member of DBG's first Tap Performing Group. After college, Rachelle continued to grow as a dance educator, teaching at DBG, which later became Interpretations Dance Academy, for 26 seasons.
Throughout her career, Rachelle has taught dancers of all ages—from 3 to 60+—in various styles, including ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, lyrical, acro, and contemporary. Her passion for teaching and dance continues to inspire those she works with, and she is dedicated to ensuring her students receive a well-rounded education.
In addition to her teaching experience, Rachelle has expanded her knowledge through various certifications . She holds certifications in Acrobatic Arts (Module One, Module Two, Aerial and Back Handspring, and Acro Dance Preschool) and Alixa Flexibility (Module One and Module Two). Her pursuit of wellness and injury prevention, sparked by her own recovery journey from knee and foot surgery, led her to become certified in Functional Range Assessment and Functional Range Conditioning through Functional Range Systems.
Rachelle is an original member of Cleveland Dance Project Studios and currently serves as a Senior HR Generalist. With extensive expertise in human resources, she is excited to apply her knowledge to her role at CDP Company. Rachelle is passionate about leveraging her experience to benefit the community, with a particular focus on promoting the physical and mental health benefits of movement and wellness.
