Ballet Legato is thrilled to host its first ROOTS Choreographers Showcase on Saturday, March 1st of 2025 at Lakewood's Near West Theatre at 6702 Detroit Avenue Cleveland, OH 44102. We have such an eclectic show right out of the gate for our first annual event!

We believe in showcasing upcoming and existing artists in our community and fostering relationships with the creators of our artform and have invited 12 local and non-local choreographers to share the stage with us for this one-night event, filled with creativity and collaboration!

Choreographing works along with our guests, five Ballet Legato artists are premiering both contemporary and jazzy styles to compliment three premier works by Executive Artistic Director, Jennifer Muselin and "Yasmin", a work set exclusiveling on Ballet Legato company dancers by BalletMet Principal Dancer, David Ward with original composition by Timothy Lawrence.

Over 21 works of pure entertainment in all genres of dance in this ONE-NIGHT ONLY event! We can't wait to see you! SEATING IS LIMITED!!!

CDP Company is the guest artist at Cleveland Dance Project’s Season 15 Showcase - an all adult dance organization for all levels of dancers.

The show is at Brecksville-Broadview Heights Middle School featuring short works by 24 choreographers, and 200 local adult dancers from the beginner to the professional. You'll see dance styles including hip hop, contemporary, modern, musical theater, jazz, ballet, heels, k-pop, tap, Indian classical dance, and more!

You'll have two chances to see the show - Show times are 3pm & 7pm

General admission tickets are only $15 when purchased in advance ($10 kids under 10), or $20 at the door ($15 kids under 10). Children under 3 are free. ONLINE TICKET SALES WILL CLOSE 4/10 (or if we sell out - only 500 tickets for each show will be sold online). Doors open 30 minutes before each show. CDP Company is hosting its third annual Community Collaborative Performance, Convergence, on Saturday June 14, 2025 at Near West Theater to give voice to other local pre-professional and professional choreographers in our showcase by allowing space to air new works / works in progress to the community.
