Elana Leonis is a CDP Company Dancer. She has been dancing for 17 years, beginning her training in classical ballet. She performed alongside De La Dance Center's academy and studio company in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Giselle, Coppelia, and Cinderella.

During her undergraduate degree at the University of Rochester, Elana was a part of Louvre Performance Ensemble, a small group that focused on contemporary, jazz, and commercial styles. Throughout her time in the group, she gained experience with choreography, show production, and publicity management. In the present day, Elana is an event planner and travel coordinator for Union Home Mortgage.

She has been with CDP Company for almost 3 years now, and loves to share the joy of movement with her peers and the Cleveland community. In particular, Elana enjoys leading and participating in workshops for the elderly, and to see their faces light up when they talk about how they like to move, and what dance means to them.
