Amanda Budzick grew up dancing at Dance Dimensions by Jen Naso in Strongsville. During her time there, she trained in all styles and competed in jazz, lyrical, tap, contemporary, and acro. After graduating high school, she went to college at Kent State University to study Early Childhood Education. She was also on the Kent State Dance Team for 4 years and was a captain her senior year. The dance team performed at home football and basketball games in the styles of jazz, hip hop, and pom. Along with dancing at games, the team also traveled to NDA Collegiate Nationals in the spring in Daytona Beach, Florida. Her junior year they made Kent State history, making it to finals for the first time ever and placing 13th in the nation in the hardest jazz division. Amanda graduated from Kent State in 2019 and is now a 1st grade teacher at Cuyahoga Heights Elementary School. She has been teaching dance at Dance Dimensions by Jen Naso for 10 years and at taught at The Dance House for 4 years. Amanda has been a part of CDP Company since 2020 and has loved all of the experiences, outreaches, and performances throughout the years. Amanda loves working with children through teaching school, dance, and doing outreach geared towards the younger ones with CDP Company. Her favorite part about outreach is being able to to create positive experiences and confidence in kids and adults. It is so beneficial for their mental health and that is the most rewarding part!
